Wind chimes with claves and tuned tubes are known since long time in the Easter cultural spheres. The overtone music chimes we offer in our shop distinguish themselves by their highly exactitude of the planetary tuning; this is the reason why their sound is so marvelous.
Precious workmanship: We guarantee a qualitative high-end finishing. Each soundtube is separately tuned, polished and receives an almost imperishable surface finishing, which allows to
use the chime in all conscience even out of doors. All the wooden parts are made out of massive hardwood –mainly elm- and treated with natural resin oil.
In each note a sumless number of harmonics is vibrating, designating the acoustic colour. For example, if the frequency is f, the harmonics have frequency 2f, 3f, 4f, etc, as well as f itself.
Pythagoras believed in something called the "harmony of the spheres." He believed that the planets and stars moved according to mathematical equations, which corresponded to musical notes and thus produced a symphony.
